Tax lead distribution
Tax lead distribution to CPA firms and resolution teams, by state, by case size, in under a second.
TL;DR
LeadMove sends each tax lead to the firm that works its state and its case size, exclusive or shared, with weekly caps paced across the week and a price per lead that can rise with the amount owed. Leads that fail to route can be resent to a firm in one click.

How tax leads get routed today
Tax leads come in from Meta and Google in bursts, land in a shared inbox or a sheet, and someone decides by hand which firm gets which one. One firm is served twice in a morning while another waits all week. A lead with a large balance goes to a firm that only does returns. When a delivery bounces, nobody notices until the firm asks where its leads went, and there is no way to resend a batch of leads that never routed short of forwarding them one email at a time. Every one of those problems is a routing rule you are enforcing by hand.
Routing patterns tax lead sellers run on
Each pattern is a rule you build once and LeadMove enforces on every lead, with 15+ operators to combine.
Firms by state
Give each firm the states it works and send matching leads to it only. A firm that covers three states gets one condition with three values, and a lead from a state nobody covers goes to your backfill firm instead of getting lost.
Case size tiers
Route on the amount owed so large balances reach the resolution firm and smaller cases go to the firms that work them at volume. One numeric condition, checked on every lead.
Weekly caps paced across the week
Cap how many leads each firm takes per week and pace them so a Monday spike does not fill the week by noon. Weight the split between firms on the same tier so the firm that pays more, or closes better, gets the larger share.
Price that follows the case
Charge more for a lead that owes more. A price rule on the amount owed sets the price per lead for each firm, and the amount is frozen on the delivery so a later change never touches past leads.
How tax lead sellers use LeadMove
One pipeline, every firm
Feed your Meta and Google lead forms into one webhook and let the rules place each lead by state, case size and cap. When a firm was full or a delivery failed, filter the leads list on the ones that never routed, select them, and hit Retry routing or Send to buyer: a batch goes back through in one click, and you see exactly which leads went where.
The taxpayer gets a text with the firm's name
As soon as a lead is placed with a firm, the taxpayer gets a text and an email naming that firm, in the firm's own wording, with its booking link. Someone who owes the IRS and just filled in a form is anxious; a message that says who will call, and when, keeps them from filling in three more forms.
Bad leads returned with a reason
When a firm says a lead was a wrong number, owed nothing, or came from a state it does not work, it files a return from its portal with a reason. You approve or reject it, the decision is logged against the exact delivery, and the make-good is billed right.
Each firm sees its own book
Every firm logs into a portal carrying your name and logo, on your own domain, to see the leads it was sent, delivery status and its return history. Its leads only, never another firm's, never your margins.
Tax lead distribution, FAQ
Can I route tax leads to CPA firms by state?
Yes. Give each firm a condition on the state field: "is one of" with the states it works. A lead only reaches firms whose list contains its state, and a lead from a state no firm covers goes to a backfill firm you set up with no conditions in a lower tier, or stays in your dashboard as unrouted for you to place by hand.
A firm was full for a day and twenty leads never routed. Can I resend them?
Yes, as a batch. Filter the leads list on the ones that are unrouted or failed, select them, and hit Retry routing to send them back through distribution with today's caps and buyers, or Send to buyer to place them with one firm directly. The result tells you what went through and what did not, reason by reason, and opens the list on exactly those leads.
How do weekly caps work when leads arrive in bursts?
Set a weekly cap per firm and LeadMove paces deliveries across the week instead of filling the cap on Monday. When a firm reaches its cap it is skipped and the next eligible firm takes the lead. You can also weight the split between firms on the same tier, and a firm running behind its quota is favored until it catches up.
Can the price per lead depend on how much the taxpayer owes?
Yes. A price rule is a price plus conditions on your pipeline's fields, so you can bill $45 for a lead whose amount owed is $25,000 or more and $28 for the rest, per firm. The resolved price is frozen on the delivery when the firm is selected, so changing a rule later affects new leads only.
