Switching platforms

Switch from LeadByte, LeadProsper or Boberdoo without losing a lead.

TL;DR

Send us your export and we rebuild your buyers, rules, prices and delivery settings in your LeadMove account, on any plan, at no cost, usually within two business days. You check every payload against what your buyers receive today, then repoint suppliers one at a time. Your old setup stays live until you switch it off.

Why switching feels risky, and what removes the risk

Three things go wrong in a platform switch. A buyer receives a payload that is not the one they were parsing, and their system drops the lead. A supplier is repointed before the rules behind it are ready, and a day of leads goes to the wrong place. The history stays on the old platform, so duplicates slip through. LeadMove answers each one before a real lead moves: the delivery preview shows the exact body every buyer will receive, suppliers move one at a time while the old platform keeps running, and a CSV import brings your past leads in so deduplication knows them.

What comes across, and how

Your setup is a list of buyers, rules, prices and delivery settings. Every one of them has a place in LeadMove, and most of them keep their name.

Your terms map one to one

A campaign becomes a pipeline, a supplier becomes a source with its own posting URL, a client becomes a buyer, each filter becomes a rule condition and the priority order becomes tiers. The migration guide in the docs holds the full table, term by term.

Campaign → PipelineSupplier → SourceClient → BuyerFilter → Rule conditionPriority → Tier

Delivery settings are copied, not rewritten

The buyer's webhook URL, headers, body template and field transforms are copied exactly as they are today, so their system sees the same payload it already parses. You preview the body side by side with what they receive now before the first real lead is sent.

History comes with you

Import your past leads from a CSV with "Distribute immediately" switched off. They land as held, are never sent to a buyer, and deduplication sees them from then on, so an old contact posted again is caught on day one.

What we do, and what you keep in hand

We rebuild it

Send us your export. We rebuild it in your account, on any plan, at no cost, usually within two business days, and nothing is repointed until you have checked it.

You check before anything moves

Every buyer has a delivery preview showing the exact payload they will receive, and you can send test leads through the whole pipeline. Nothing goes to a real buyer until you say so.

Suppliers move one at a time

Each supplier gets its own posting URL. Repoint the smallest one first, watch a day of real traffic land where it should, then move the next. The old platform keeps running throughout.

Nothing is charged before day 15

Every plan starts with a 14-day trial. The rebuild happens inside it, so you compare both platforms on real leads before the first invoice.

How a switch runs

  1. 1

Start a trial and send us your export (buyers, rules, delivery settings) from the chat.

  2. 2

Within two business days your pipelines, buyers and rules are in your account.

  3. 3

Compare the previewed payload for each buyer with what they receive today.

  4. 4

Repoint one supplier, watch its leads land, then the next.

  5. 5

Switch off the old platform when the numbers match.

Switching to LeadMove, FAQ

Does the migration cost anything?

No. We rebuild your buyers, rules, prices and delivery settings in your account at no cost, on any plan, including during the trial. You pay your plan price and nothing else.

How long does it take?

Usually two business days from the moment your export arrives, for the rebuild itself. The time depends on the number of buyers and delivery formats. Repointing suppliers is then your pace: one a day is common.

Do my buyers have to change anything?

No. Their webhook URL, headers and body template are copied as they are, so their system receives the same payload it parses today. The delivery preview lets you confirm that before a real lead is sent.

Can I keep my old platform running during the switch?

Yes, and you should. Nothing in LeadMove touches your old platform. Move one supplier at a time and keep the old setup live until every supplier posts to LeadMove and the numbers match.

Can I import my lead history?

Yes, by CSV, up to 5,000 rows per file, with "Distribute immediately" switched off so the leads are held and never sent to a buyer. From then on deduplication knows them. Imported leads count toward your monthly lead quota.

What if my old platform does ping/post?

LeadMove routes on rules you set, and reads the buyer's real-time accept or reject on delivery. It does not run ping/post auctions where buyers bid on each lead. If bidding is how you sell, keep that part where it is; if your buyers have an agreed price, the rules and per-buyer pricing cover it.

Start the trial, send the export

Your webhook exists five minutes after signup. The rebuild starts when your export arrives.
